Women in Tech
I sold three companies. I’m a woman and it has been hard to be a woman in tech. My previous business partners have made many remarks about my appearance. One of them insinuating that I was ugly. I was vetting a potential business partner and he asked me if I was a virgin. He also made several references to my appearance. Also he kept looking at my body after we talked. How do other women handle this?
A fair number probably handle it by leaving the industry.
I recently learned some women I work with have their own group that meets up outside of work.
